I want to share cool women on my blog with the aim of connecting to motivation and setting goals in life .
I will make a Q&A with a new person every week and post it on my blog and this week I will introduce you to the beautiful Norwegian model Ada.

I met Ada in Barcelona in June this year. We randomly met at one of the many model castings we were both going to. We started talking from the moment we saw each other. You know these people where you just click with from the beginning, and you have this unspoken chemistry that is rar but you feel like you know the person even though you just met them – that happened to Ada and I.
This girl has besides her mind-blowing Norwegian beauty studied a bachelor in journalism and writing. She works as a model for several years and are based in New York.
Afte meeting Ada in Barcelona we coincidentally both happened to work in London with modeling this autumn where we got to spent some time together. This girl is a postive inspirational girl who pursue her own way in life and I admire her for that.
  • Q: What is your currently project that you are working on?
  • A:Right now I am working full-time as a model. Im currently in London, and its a very different market from NY. Very exciting! I can also spend weekends home in Norway, as well as update my portfolio with European work! Good combo. London has such a cool vibe and I find it so inspiring to be here and work with great brands and photographers. In addition to this I?ve been working on a secret project for ages (almost two years) now and I am almost ready to launch this ?baby? of mine. The Bookary, an online magazine, is ready launch in the beginning of December?

  • Q: How did you end up doing what you do today?
  • A:I was studying business in Bristol, when I was scouted by Heartbreak management in Norway. I had been scouted a few times before, but modeling was something I never really considered to do. I wanted to finish my education, do the ?right thing” and walk the safest path possible. However, I was pretty miserable in Bristol (cold, grey, beans on toast…)  and decided to do modeling for a year after I finished my first year of university. One year went by very fast and I was lucky enough to get amazing agencies all over the world. After I had worked my way through London, Paris, Milan and Tokyo, I wanted to move to New York! It was tough in the beginning, but I made friends and New York feels like home now. I have been studying online while modeling so thats how my passion for writing fits into this picture…

  • Q: Did you set goals about where you wanted to be?
  • A: I most definitely set goals for myself. I think even on a daily basis, I set part-goals and work towards them so that I know Im on the right track to reach larger goals. Wow that sounds so lame! But I do! So lame, so sorry? However, I believe in writing down and typing out your dreams, and check in often on how your doing. Maybe they even change along the way? I also believe in visualization (nerd, I know), and truly believe that consistent work and positive energy will help you reach your goals. When I was looking for my first home in New York I even drew a picture of my roommate Kaia and myself sitting in our dream apartment in Union Square?. It worked, and we still live there. Gosh, this really is embarrassing to say out loud…

  • Q: What inspires you in life?
  • A: I am of course inspired by traveling, creative people, artists, great music, delicious food, beautiful fashion and so on. However, my biggest inspiration in life is the power of positivity. I love people who manage to fill a room with laughter, smiles and kindness. Isn’t it amazing how some people manage to just literally bounce positive energy back at you? I love how my group of girlfriends back home in Norway are all so kind and so good to everyone around them. They never trash talk other girls or spread negative energy. This is such a beautiful and important quality! I also admire and look up to strong women who have gone through hell and back, and still manage to stay positive and spread joy. That to me, is inspiring.
  • Q: What motivates you?
  • A: My biggest motivation in life is to make the people who love me proud. Loosing my mother in 2011 definitely changed me as a person, and it took a long time before I started to find anything in life motivating at all. Luckily I managed to find a way to see myself as the fruit of her life, and made a decision to live my life trying to make her proud. I want to create a life for myself that she would have wanted for me. Thats probably why it is motivating to set goals and reach them. Looking back today, it is even more motivating to know that while working towards my goals, I have experienced and seen the whole world through a career I never even considered possible just a few years ago!
  • Q: How do you take care of your body?
  • A: I take good care of my body. In terms of food, living in New York has definitely made me open my eyes to the dirty food industry. I try to redefine what delicious means in my head. New Yorkers are good at eating vegetarian, and they are very LOUD when it comes to hating processed foods, badly farmed meat and so on. I find this inspiring, but I LOVE food and I LOVE candy. However, I have to be hard on myself in order to maintain “ze” Body. I eat superduper healthy throughout the week and then I let loose on the weekends?.I also work out minimum four times per week. I like to mix it up with bodysculpt, pilates, yoga, running and spinning. In NY i go to crunch and box with amazing trainers. If I wasn’t modeling I would probably still treat my body the same way. A bit more candy though. Just a bit…
  • Q: What is your food item/s of indulgence?
  • A: I am extremely weak for typical norwegian baked goods. Sweet raisin buns being my number one go to treat, cloooooosely followed by musli-buns and scones. I also love Italian food, burgers,  marzipancakes and my boyfriends insane cooking! Oh, and apples?.carrots?acaibowls…you-know-the-deal.
  • Q: What is your beauty secret/tip?
  • A: My best beauty tip is to have a little bit of tan! I know its important to protect yourself from the sun, but I also believe that having a little bit of colour can make you feel a whole lot better. At least thats how it is for me?In addition to this, I could never live my life without an eyelash-curler.
  • Q: What is you next goal?
  • A:  My next goal is to go on with my career as a model and book the jobs that I want the most. Im also taking a social-media and marketing diploma right now that I need to finish, as well as launching The Bookary in December. I also want to be the best daughter, girlfriend, sister and friend, so I guess I better stop writing and make some phone-calls.
