Barcelona casting life

‘Modeling in Barcelona‘ can sound very glamorous when first giving it a thought. But but but there is both advantages and disadvantages like many other things in life. My modeling agency here in Barcelona, which I am signed with are really sweet and amazing. I have a great relationship to the lovely girls working there – so I cannot complain about that. However your schedule is completely in the hands of the agency. I cannot plan my days as I might have a casting, which I receive on e-mail or text message. I can get e-mails with casting information the day before or many times I receive it on the same day. And the purpose of going to the castings is to get booked for jobs, which there is no guarantee what-so-ever that you will get. I have been to between 1-4 castings every day and then I have been booked for jobs. When I go to castings I have to wear clothes which is kind of tight so I am not hiding my body in big over-sized clothes and then with basic make-up. I usually just wear some blush and that’s it. I do not prefer wearing a lot of make-up because I sweat so much walking around from one casting to the other and then I also want my skin to breathe.

My casting essential: my comp card, which I give to the client so they remember me. And I wear my pants from IvyCopenhagen
