Pavillon De Reine Hotel in Paris

Looking for where to stay in the most romantic city in the world?

I know exactly how you feel when you struggle to find a place to stay, when there is too much to choose from; area? Arrondissement? Apartment? Hotel? Affordable luxury or luxury?

Well, I have found the perfect hidden intimate and luxurious (without being stiff and too much gold, if you know what I mean) hotel in the Marais area.

Hotel Pavillon De La Reine is located on Place de Vosges, but has a hidden location. I have walked by many times without noticing the hotel.

Pavillon de la Reine is a cute and charming 5 star hotel, which has a stunning garden and a cosy living room/hang-out area. The hotel does not have a particular restaurant, but they have an all-day bar menu, which is great and tasty.

I stayed at the hotel for five nights in an amazing duplex suite overlooking the garden with sculptures and beautiful lights at night.

The hotel has a gym and a spa in the basement. The best part of the spa was the steam room. I believe I spent 15 minutes in the steam every evening. The steam room was big and not many people used it, so I had it for myself.

The hotel offers a breakfast buffet in the mornings where you get more than at a typical French breakfast place, where a coffee, croissant, and orange juice typically is mostly it! This buffet contained everything from fresh fruit, to pastries, juices, yoghurt and much more. Moreover, you can order eggs à la carte.

Furthermore, the service at the hotel was top! The staff was helpful, kind and super service-minded.

The area is one of my favourites in Paris, which is a huge plus. I love the Marais area because it’s vibrant and filled with cafés, brasseries and shops. I can spend days just walking around this area and soaking in all the energy.

Here are some pictures from my stay at Pavillon De La Reine.
