One of the things I love about London is the fact that there are so many amazing workout places. There is no excuse for not working out. Between 6AM and 11PM you can always find a workout suitable for you.
I like to do different kinds of workouts so I do not get tired but keep my body and brain working and staying motivated.
Here are my favourite workout spots in London:
BXR – cool boutique gym. You can train by yourself at the gym, have a personal trainer, or sign up for their amazing “Sweat Classes”. They offer boxing, TRX and climbing (mountain climber machine). I have done a lot of their classes and they are great!!
Define London: This studio is a chic barre method studio. Here you focus a lot on the core and the small muscles. It is great for toning and defining your body.
Triyoga: My favourite yoga spot in London. They have several studios in London and all of them are great. They offer all the different kinds of yoga and also in heated rooms. All their teachers are surprisingly good.
Barrys Bootcamp: The ultimate hardcore high pace workout. The class combines treadmill and exercises mostly with weights. This is great for conditioning and for toning and building muscles.
Tenpilates: A reformer pilates studio chain which is great for building core strength and working on your alignment in the body.
KX gym: A members club gym in Chelsea but they have opened a studio where non-members can sign up for their classes.
Gymbox: A cool underground-feeling gym chain where a DJ is playing inside the gym during most of the evenings. This place makes you feel like you are at a club! I love it!
Kobox: A cardio boxing class that combines boxing and full body exercises. This is great for conditioning and toning. The studio is designed with dark blue light so you feel like entering a club. The place is fun and suitable to bring a friend along.
