Riad, Ptit Habibi in Marrakech

Riad P’tit Habibi Marrakech

If you want to get the real Moroccan experience in Marrakech, then you stay at a Riad. A Riad is a charming Moroccan house with a courtyard in the middle. Some Riads are bigger than others but the charm of the riads is the authentic vibe.

Marrakech is full of riads so its just about exploring and finding one that is located in a good area and pleased your style.

I discovered Riad, P’tit Habibi which I fell in love with because of the style and charm. And the location of the P’tit Habibi is perfect – it is located at the north end of the Medina in Marrakech.

The house fuses traditional artisan craft combined with modern design. P’tit Habibi has the feel of a stunning privat house with two roof terraces and a pool.

I came for a 3 night stay and I absolutely loved it.
Every morning I would sit on the roof terrace and eating delicious Morrocan breakfast while feeling the morning sun. This was absolutely incredible. The Moroccan breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, pomegranate, bread with butter and jam, orange juice, and coffee.

The riad facilitates 5 rooms. You can stay here as a couple, family, friends, or even take all the 5 rooms and have the riad entirely yours.
The face rooms are two suites and three doubles. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. And the rooms have got their own name; White Room, Hazy Moon, Wanaggrata, Love Nest, and Peruche.
The rooms are individually designed and they each have their own touch and feel. So if you would like to book a room at P’tit Habibi then look at the different rooms and request the one you like the most.

The staff at P’tit Habibi are very accommodating and they help you with all your reservations, how to get around, airport pick-up and transfer, etc. You really feel like they want to make you have the best stay while you are there.

I can highly recommend staying at the P’tit Habibi. And if you have time to come , even for a weekend, it’s worth it.

Marrakech is amazing all year around because the sun will almost always be shining. I would say that spring and autumn are the best time to go as the weather is hot but not burning like in the summer time. And the winter time are really cold during nights so you need to be prepared for this.

P’tit Habibi is located in the medina so you are very central. It takes about 10 min. to walk to the center of the Medina so its very convenient.

You can explore the different gardens as; Jardin Majorelle, Jardin le Secret, and go to the big main square where there is fruit markets and horses etc.
You can also go on a day trip out to the desert and quad bike in the desert.

The food is Marrakech is a lot of cous cous, chicken, vegetables, and chickpeas. Read my Marrakech City Guide here for inspiration about where to go.
