Arrived at The Legian Hotel in Seminyak, Bali

I have arrived in Bali after a 17 hour journey from Paris and I am so so so excited to be here. This is my first trip to Bali, Indonesia.

I had a 40 min. layover in Doha, Qatar so it was an easy connection but a long flight.

After arriving at Denpasar Airport I had a 30 min. drive to The Legian Hotel.

The Legian Hotel is located in Seminyak and is a stunning 5-star hotel on the beach.
The hotel has all the amenities you would need and with sublime service.
The Legian is 23 years old, but looks very new and with a Balinese modern style.
With their 81 rooms, they facilitate quite a lot of guests, but still keeping it personal.
They have an amazing wellness spa where you can get all the spa treatments you can dream of.
I had the pleasure of experiencing their signature treatment which is called “Legian Indulgence Treatment”.
This signature treatment was beyond amazing and probably the best treatment I have ever had! I kid you not!! I got escorted to a beautiful Balinese style room on the beach where I could hear the waves of the ocean. And for 2 hours, two therapists where spoiling me with a synchronized four hands massage. The treatment was a full body massage including reflexology and face and head massage. I mean I was in heaven for 2 hours.
For the treatment I got to choose between 4 different Bali oils and I went for the lemon scent which is also energizing for the body.
Sport:
If you want to be sporty during your stay at The Legian you have a lot of options.
Firstly, they have a fully equipped gym with Techogym machines and a Pilates room. Secondly, they have yoga every morning and in the afternoon for sunset.
Thirdly, there are Pilates and spinning classes every day.
Fourthly, you can take a SUP board on the beach and go into the ocean.
There are no excuses to not exercise.
Food
There is one restaurant at The Legian named “The Restaurant”.
At The Restaurant, they serve a delicious breakfast buffet where you can eat all the fruits, juices, pastries, and Bali dishes you like. Moreover, there is an a la carte menu where you can order any style eggs, pancakes, French toasts, coconut yoghurt and more (The French toasts are amazing!!!)
For dinner The Restaurant serves a variety of fish and meat dishes.
I experienced “The Evolve tasting menu” which was a 7-course dinner with wine pairing and it was beyond delicious.
The menu consisted of three different fish courses where local white fish and octopus was included. And there was two desserts where one was a banana composition and one was a chocolate heaven cake.
At The Legian you feel very welcoming and relaxed. All the staff are extremely service minded, but not in a pushy way. They always smile and are happy to talk. And the location is stunning. The beach is beautiful and wherever you are in the hotel you can always hear the sound of ocean waves.
The hotel has a pool area and beach chairs along the beach.
To me there was nothing better than lying on the beach reading a book and listening to the ocean waves.
Seminyak:
The Legian Hotel is located in Seminyak, which also has a cute little town.
From the hotel you can walk 10 min. and you will find small cute shops and healthy cafées. It’s worth for one day and night to explore Seminyak town.
